A little known fact that you can share with your public servant clients!
Pursuant to Florida Statute 119.071 (4) (d), past and present law enforcement officers, judges, state attorneys, public defenders, probation officers, etc., can request that their home addresses, phone numbers and other certain information be redacted from the records made available to the public. This can be done through the Clerk of Courts, Tax Collector, and Property Appraiser and provides for an additional layer of security for them and their families.
The forms are available through our closing process at your notification and request for filing. Feel free to contact us for the forms for past client follow-up or if you would like a copy of the statute.
