Insuring Transactions for Corporations
Prior to insuring the transfer of title by a Corporation, a review must be made of the Corporation’s documents to determine the legal name, the authority to sign, and who may act on behalf of and conduct business for the entity.
Generally, those documents are:
Corporate Resolution
Articles of Incorporation
Corporation Bylaws
Verification of the status of the Corporation will be made to prove the existence of the entity, that the corporation is in good standing with the state in which it conducts business, and that the corporation has not been dissolved.
