Lynn Bower, John R. Wood residential realtor
Lynn Bower, president-elect of the Women’s Council of Realtors, became familiar with Access Title and Karen Kohler through the Women’s Council of Realtors (link) about three years ago.
“As affiliates we try their services. So, I had her handle one closing,” Lynn said. The two became friends through their involvement in the Women’s Council of Realtors.
That first professional experience with affiliate Karen Kohler and Access Title was great, Lynn said.
“It was because of the extreme communication and updating between their office and my client that then led me to use Access Title in other closings,” she said.
There are many opportunities for files to fall apart, so confidence can be a great relief to realtors as they serve their clients.
“Everything she does in the office, she notifies me on. Whether it’s requesting something or receiving something. No matter how insignificant that may seem, it gives you that feeling of peace,” Lynn said.
Karen’s experience helped her perform professionally and successfully when working with a short sale and a first time homebuyer. That nervous first time homebuyer, who was looking to seal a deal on what seemed a complicated-to-them short sale, didn’t remain nervous for long with Karen’s care.
“She has that overall base knowledge in real estate that is very helpful. You feel you’re working as a team.”
Karen is extremely organized and that helps her clients too. “It just makes me look even better as a realtor,” Lynn said.
“In real estate transactions, you’ve learned to expect the unexpected, but you don’t need that from the title company you’ve selected. There are no surprises from Karen.” Karen Kohler gives as much outside of the office as in it, Lynn said.
“She’s out in the community and very involved in organizations such as the Women’s Council of Realtors. She has a business and a family while remaining very generous as a volunteer. She’s not a taker; she’s a giver,” said Lynn.
