Michigan Real Estate Continues Stronger in Five County Area

Median and Average prices continued their trend upward when comparing January 2021 to January 2020.

The number of sales actually went down year over year from 190 to 184 homes sold. Total dollar value still increased over 15% to a total of $59,186,872.

All counties including Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Antrim and Kalkasa showed increases in average and median sold prices over the prior year. Days on the market were mixed with Grand Traverse experiencing slightly fewer days on the market, and the others more days on the market before the sale was made.

Total dollar year over year volume of sales increased in all counties except Benzie and Kalkaska, which saw slight declines in dollar sales volume.
