Everything was up in the Five County area in single family home sales comparing April 2021 to April 2020. Because of the COVIC-19 restrictions, it is not recommended to draw too many conclusions of month over month comparisons due to the disruption in market forces. The April number of sales went up 57% to 261 units sold, dollar volume went up 114% to $107,157,221, as the average sales price went up 35% to $410,564, and the median sales price went up 18% to $295,000.
Average days on the market went down to 97 days from April 2020 days on market at 108. There were two counties, where the average days on the market went up which is Leelanau and Antrim.
