The Five County real estate pricing continued its upward momentum comparing February 2021 to 2020. While the total sales counts were smaller, the total dollar volume was up. Total sales were at 172 for February 2021 and 176 for February 2020. Total sales volume was $59,799,200 in February 2021 versus $49,704,715 for 2020 for a 20% increase.
All but two counties had a larger sales volume except Benzie, with had one less sale and $65,750 less in total sales volume; and Kalkaska which and 6 fewer sales and $636,345 less sales volume. Both of these counties had a higher average sales price and higher median sales price from February 2021 over February of 2020.
Antrim had the largest percentage increase in total sales percentage, average sales price and median sales price. They were total dollar volume, $7,460,600 in Februay 2021 versus $4,4012,000 in February 2020 for an 85% increase. February 2021 average sales price was $339,118 and the median sales price was $180,000, versus 2020 average sales price of $211,000 and median sales price of $124,000 in February 2020.
