April is Fair Housing Month – What it Means

Brandi Wolf discusses National Fair Housing Month. In 1968 it became prohibited to discriminate in the sale, rental or financing of housing based on disability or the other protected classes.

Anyone involved in a housing transaction is responsible for following the laws.

She invites you to take the Fairhaven challenge. This online experience has you “work against the clock to sell homes in the fictional town of Fairhaven, while confronting discrimination in the homebuying process. Learners will also walk in the shoes of a homebuyer facing discrimination.”
