Senior Escrow Office, Susan Gutknecht, received a rush order on a Monday for a Commercial Refinance Closing 3 days later on Thursday.
Susan immediately went into action, ensuring that our underwriter would have the title examination and commitment to insure completed by then. She coordinated with the customer to obtain the payoff and completed the Settlement Statement.
Next hurdle? There were two Notice of Commencements recorded that we need to get the Contractors to sign off on Affidavits.
Another hurdle? The customers could not come to us, so Susan and the Loan Officer went to the customer’s home which was under remodeling.
Closing took place in the closet room. You could say that we didn’t let the dust settle on this one!
